How is Pulse OS different from F-Pulse+?

F-Pulse+ is a production pipeline tool — encrypted secrets, team roles, audit trail, admin controls. Pulse OS is the full data platform: pipelines plus storage, cataloging, AI, governance, health monitoring, data delivery, and 380+ connectors. Put simply — F-Pulse+ replaces your pipeline tool; Pulse OS replaces your pipeline tool, your data warehouse layer, your catalog, your governance tools, and the way you deliver data to teams.

Does Pulse OS replace Snowflake or Databricks?

Pulse OS can run on top of Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or its own built-in data store — your choice. It works with any of them. Many customers keep their existing warehouse and use Pulse OS for everything around it — cataloging, governance, and data delivery. Others move fully onto the Pulse OS data store to save on cost.

How does the AI plane handle our private data?

Pulse OS works with 9 AI providers, including Ollama for keeping everything on your own servers. Your data never leaves your cloud unless you deliberately turn on a hosted provider — and even then, only the minimum needed context is sent, never raw records or passwords. AI assistants can only use the tools you approve, per team.

What about single sign-on, permissions, and multiple teams?

Single sign-on with your existing identity provider (SAML/OIDC), role-based access down to each team's workspace, and full multi-team support out of the box. Every workspace has its own isolated data, limits, audit trail, and automatically enforced policies.

Can we self-host Pulse OS, or is it cloud-only?

Self-hosted is the default deployment. Pulse OS runs on Docker Compose for small installations and Kubernetes (Helm chart) for production. There is also a managed cloud option for teams that don't want to operate the platform themselves.

How do we migrate from our existing stack?

Most migrations happen one capability at a time, not all at once. Teams typically start by cataloging their existing warehouses to get a single view of everything, then centralize governance and policies, then move new pipeline work to Pulse OS while leaving existing pipelines in place. A full switch is usually a 1–2 quarter project depending on scope.

How is Pulse OS priced?

Pulse OS is a commercial enterprise product priced per-workspace and per-environment, not per-row or per-query. Pricing is conversation-based — request a demo from /access and we'll scope it to what you actually need.
